Representatives of JSC "Vodokanal", JSC "Nizhny Novgorod water utility", LLC "Sochivodokanal" had a round table meeting in Rostov -on-Don. The purpose of the meeting was to discuss a range of issues related to the implementation of the law "On the Water Supply and Sanitation" № 416 -FZ of 12.07.2011 and some by-laws that were adopted to improve the law.
"Changes in the law require water-supply enterprises should restructure its activities. Experience exchange allows water utilities to specify features of law enforcement, improve work efficiency. Setting the ways for effective implementation of the legislation is important tool to improve the quality of services. This is the aim we gather in Rostov -on-Don to have a round-table",— said the director of the Legal Department of JSC "Vodokanal" Lyudmila Soldatenko.
During the meeting at Rostov Vodokanal a lot of issues were being discussed and among them there were construction design of linear structures for commissioning the facilities, transmission services for ownerless networks, the connection of water supply and sanitation, procurement procedures under the new legislation, relationship problems with managing organizations, debt collection for the holiday receiving water and waste water and others.
Specialists of water utility companies from Nizhny Novgorod and Sochi showed deep and true interest in the course of large-scale investment projects implemented on the Don land — "Water of Rostov" ("Integrated program for the construction and reconstruction of water supply and sanitation in Rostov-on -Don and the south-west of Rostov region") and "Clean Don". Cost of the investment, "Water Rostov" exceeds 37 billion rubles, and the area of coverage — more than 1.2 million people. Implementation period 2004-2023 years. JSC "Vodokanal", belongs to the group of companies JSC "Evraziyskiy", the investor of the project. The purpose of the regional investment project "Clean Don" is to create communal infrastructure elements of drainage system in Rostov-on -Don, providing the level up and increasing the quality of life by improving the quality of wastewater treatment as well as the connection of new consumers to a centralized wastewater and greening wastewater water.
The round table participants agreed that the meeting was relevant and necessary and the data shared by colleagues and with them will form the basis of improving the structure of enterprises, utility performance on different aspects of business.
