Touching with the experience of the training centers of JSC PO "Vodokanal" of the city of Rostov-on-Don was one of the items of the seminar "New learning opportunities to educate specialists in the field of water supply and sanitation", organized by the Russian Association of water supply and sanitation and the "Center for Advanced Development" on the basis of training center of "Mosvodokanal". The workshop was attended by experts of this sphere from Vladimir, Yekaterinburg, Izhevsk, Lipetsk, Novosibirsk, Podolsk, St. Petersburg, Syktyvkar, Tomsk and other cities.
The report on the topic "The experience of training and staff development in the corporate training center" at the seminar was presented by Lyudmila Chuhlebova, the chief training centers of JSC PO "Vodokanal". She emphasized the positive effect training has for the work of the enterprise.
JSC PO "Vodokanal" has a license to teach within 36 occupations. 3134 specialists of Vodokanal got necessary education and professional courses as well as engineering specialists raised their qualifications, it happened within the period since 2010 up to October 2013. The company has implemented training apprenticeship agreements with newly hired workers that perpetuates the workforce in manufacturing. The necessary and relevant occupations, which Vodokanal teaches as well are in a high demand at the marketplace, so thus the center provides educational services to other businesses and organizations very actively and among the cities there are Rostov-on-Don, Novocherkassk, Taganrog, Bataisk, Aksay, Novorossiysk, Sochi, etc.
Theoretical training teachers are certified specialists of Vodokanal who are conducted for holding educational activities. Practical skills are being practiced at the training ground and water utility production sites. Annualy the enterprise organizes the contest "Best Worker" on the basis of Rostov Vodokanal for the water companies in the group companies of JSC "Evraziyskiy" and the center participates in the organization and holding of this contest very actively.
After the speech, participants got numerous questions to answer and all of them concerned the organization of the Rostov Center, licensing practices of educational activities, attracting teachers and vocational instructors. "In giving my replies, I tried as much as possible to meet the great interest in the work of our Center. Hopefully, our practical experience will be helpful for colleagues from other water-supply enterprises in creating an effective system of training. The speeches of experts, when meeting with the Centre Mosvodokanal learned a lot of useful things in their experience, worthy of early implementation of activities to improve our training centers", — shared Lyudmila Chuhlebova telling about her impressions after the seminar.
