Problems related to dumping sewage into storm sewers and illegal water use were examined during a raid on the village Izmailovskaya street in Krayevsko-Armyanskoe and Izmaylovka settlement. In the area of Sochi there is no centralized sewage, people dump wastes on the relief of the surrounding area and in the river Macesta
Sochi blogosphere turned into stormy debate on how to solve this problem. Employees of Sochi Vodokanal supported the initiative and bloggers organized a joint raid. It was attended by deputies of Sochi City Council Alexander Uvarov and Valery Chernyakovskiy, specialists of " SochiVodokanal " and MUP " Vodostok ", representatives of the Administration of Sochi, administration head Sergey Razdolsky rural district Dobromyslov . The representative of the Commission did it together with the initiator of the event, a blogger of a site " PrivetSochi " Vyacheslav , known by the nickname VVE_Rost.
A stone's throw from the village administration there is a complex of multi-storey buildings, erected on the site of private households. It a typical situation for Sochi: under the guise of individual residential buildings being built apartment house, which then legitimized through the courts. A misfire came in this case: the developer was going to build a nine floor building, and has already sold apartments on the upper floors, but he was allowed only four. As a result, people who bought "air", waiting for their next build another house.
But those who relocated are not enjoying their lives here. There is no water in the house, the water is supplied to the level of the first floor on a temporary scheme established for the construction period. Residents carry buckets of water to their floors, and some are being washed in the yard. An inspector of LLC "SochiVodokanal" found connection to water supply networks. The counters show the flow of 745 cubic meters, but the payment for the consumed water is not produced.
- Once in the Izmailovskaya street they began to build apartment buildings, exacerbated the problem with sewage. - complains a local Bedros Logimyan. - We do not have sewer drains merge into storm sewers, paved open way.

In the area of Sochi there is no centralized sewage, people dump wastes on the relief of the surrounding area and in the river Macesta.
Storm sewage at Izmaylovskaya is a common ditch running along the houses on the odd side of the street to the river Macesta . Even without an analysis of the contents drains are depressing : color, odor , stains from synthetic detergents . And every backyard summed a pipe which residents poured domestic wastewater through. This falls into river Macesta without treatment, and then it fall in the sea.
- I think, there is a need to change the procedure for the issuance of technical conditions for developers , - said Alexander Uvarov, deputy Sochi City Council . - . Please let them build local treatment facilities , participate in addressing sewer district buildings. And only then give them the technical conditions for connection of water and other municipal services.
Even more difficult situation is going on in the village Izmailovka. In prior years, was located here a tea stated farm, wastewater treatment plants worked, sewage system existed . At the moment the sewage is destroyed, sewer pipes have become worthless. A plumbing works. As a result, sewage pipes at residues discharged from residential buildings and poured into a nearby forest , ravine or right on the road, as it happens in a family hostel , standing at the final stop of the bus number 180 .
- The situation is grim, and this is not an isolated case , these problem areas are available throughout the city. Ecology suffers, there is a threat to the health people.- shares his impressions of what he saw Valery Chernyakovskiy , MP Sochi City Council . -These questions need to be addressed jointly, as quickly as possible to find sources of funding for the construction of wastewater treatment facilities in the villages.
The raid showed the effectiveness of joint action utilities, legislators and the public.
- In rural settlements in the territory of Sochi problems with sewage can be solved only by joint efforts of municipal services and the legislative and executive authorities , - says Dmitry Tchernyaev , chief engineer of " SochiVodokanal ." - We are ready to take responsibility for the operation of sewer networks , but the restoration or construction of reservoirs , treatment plants must be addressed at the municipal or regional level.
